Project Grover (Geoglyph Rover) focuses on the development of an autonomous robot which is capable of creating artwork on the landscape which it drives, with an end goal of being able to create geoglyph inspired artworks. Geoglyphs are a type of artwork traditionally made by either removing or adding material from the landscape, such as stone or sand, which creates a contrast and hence can be used to make designs or patterns. The artwork can be seen from above, with pieces ranging in scale from tens of meters, to kilometres. Grover will instead use line marking paint to leave behind a trail, which will push the limits beyond what we know painting to be today!
